Sun n Fun Fly-in
The annual Sun ’n Fun Fly–In will be held April 13-18, 2010, at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in Lakeland, Florida.

Since 1975, Sun ’n Fun has brought together people who enjoy the event’s unique “southern hospitality” as they participate in an enthusiastic exchange of information on virtually every aspect of aircraft design, construction, restoration and maintenance. They also experience an invigorating camaraderie that flourishes whenever airplanes, their pilots and friends reunite in Lakeland each spring.

The USAF Thunderbirds return to SUN 'n FUN
The Thunderbirds plan to arrive at SUN ‘n FUN during the second half of the six day SUN ‘n FUN event.  They may engage in individual media flights and a team training flight prior to their scheduled performances on Saturday and Sunday, April 17 and 18.

April 28 - May 2, 2010
Top Gun Invitational Tournament
All types of R/C aircraft models will fill the skies when the worlds greatest model airplane show gets underway at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport. The aircraft at Top Gun are all works of art. In order to be able to participate in Top Gun not only the pilot needs to be good, but the plane needs to be an exact copy of the original. Top Gun pilots fly all kinds of aircraft. You will see Jets with real turbine engines, WW 1 and WW2 aircraft, multi engine, civilian, military...All types are here to recreate the looks and flight performance of it's full size counterpart.

Everything is being judged down to the smallest detail. It takes a combination of 2 scores to determine who the winner of a Top Gun class will be. All aircraft are first “Static Judged”, and then go on to the Flying part of the competition.
