Central Florida Aerospace Academy of Kathleen High School
The Central Florida Aerospace Academy of Kathleen High School is a full-time high school program located on the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport at Sun ‘n Fun. At the academy students are challenged to reach high levels of achievement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics in preparation for high-tech careers in the fields of aviation and aerospace. The academy responds to the needs of industry by placing emphasis on teamwork, individual achievement, skill development, creativity, and innovation, as well as critical thinking. Students who attend the academy participate in coursework in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Aerospace Technologies, and Air Force JROTC as well as their general high school curriculum.
